4ShayJ Foundation proudly received $17,000 in grants at the Fast Pitch 2025 competition  supporting our mission to provide helmets and promote safety education for students across the Coachella Valley.

​​The 4Shayj Foundation

​It is our mission to change the way children think about helmet safety.  We visit schools and educate children about the importance of wearing helmets.

Through the support of our community and public donations, we provide safety helmets to children who can not afford them.

​The 4ShayJ Foundation was created in May, 2015, after the accidental death of our 19-year old son, Shaun Jr. (ShayJ).  He lost his life March 31, 2015, in a skateboarding accident - in which he was not wearing a safety helmet.
